The Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) provides public access to government documents and records. Requests filed under FOIA, response letters, and responsive documents are, themselves, public records.

The Supervisor’s office responds to the FOIA requests for all Zion Township matters. A request to the Supervisor’s office must include contact information and a description of the documents being sought. The request must clearly state that you are asking for information under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act. You can also use the following form: FOIA Request Form (PDF).
