Passports
Zion Township is an authorized passport agency. If you are interested in obtaining a passport book or passport card, please call our office at 847-872-2811 to schedule an appointment. Please bring a current, valid photo ID, your original birth certificate, two passport photos and two checks when you come to the Township. Our office requires cash or check and cannot accept credit card payments.

Notary
Zion Township offers notary services. Please call 847-872-2811 prior to visiting the office to make sure an authorized notary is available. You must bring a valid photo ID at the time of service.

RTA

Zion Township is an RTA “Key Center.” As an authorized agency, the Township processes applications for reduced-fare bus and Metra train passes. You must be at least 65 years old to qualify. ADA applications are also available for individuals who receive Circuit Breaker benefits. Please bring a valid photo ID at the time of service.

Volunteer Opportunities

Drive People Happy!

Zion Township needs drivers to deliver one route per week to seniors and shut-ins in Zion for the Meals-on-Wheels program. Currently, we have six daily routes that have up to ten drops each. It takes less than 45 minutes to pick up the meals at Zion Township, deliver them, and return the bags to the Center.
